Georgia Miller has two kids from two different fathers and she moves from city to city to hide from her disturbing past. The 10 episode series tells the story of Georgia and her daughter, Ginny, as they settle into a new life in Massachusetts.
Although Ginny and Georgia had a great mother-daughter relationship, I think Ginny was extremely wild! She was always very rude to her mother and she really had no business digging into her mother’s past. I really can’t stand kids talking back to their parents, for no reason! She was a selfish brat!
Can you believe the lady who plays 15 year old Ginny, Antonia Gentry is 24 in real life? Wow!
Anyway, Ginny’s friend, Max was a bit overkill with her whole lesbian palaver. Like ok we get it you’re a lesbian, desperate for a gf — kk relax!
I still can’t get over 15 year olds having sex but hey that’s the reality of the world we live in. I liked that they used older, legal characters to play 15 year olds. It makes it slightly bearable!
I’d just like to point out that Joe (Raymond Ablack) is a weird kinda sexy. Yum!
All round great show, great story, I can’t wait to see season 2. Highly recommended, especially if you like suspense and high school drama, so I rate it 8/10. It’s available to watch on Netflix.
